Pi House is a home that has been created for transitional aged youth between the ages of 18-24 that have aged out of the foster care system. The official title is a Supportive Independent Living Program or (SILP) home. We have six beds in this home for young men who want to improve their life situation. We have a house manager who helps to guide each young man on his journey. Each resident pays rent which includes housing, utilities and food. Each resident must be going to school full time or working full time or a combination of both. We strive to make this a home where all are accepted and supported as they move through these formative years.
“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.” -Archbishop Desmond Tutu
