We work to help each person find hope.
Case ManagementCase management services assist those who are homeless or on the edge of homelessness in becoming more self sufficient. Our case managers help each person create attainable goals and walk along side them. Our case managers help with life skills like problem solving, money management and conflict resolution.
Gas & Electricity AssistanceWe provide assistance to local residents with gas and electric bills. Southern California Edison assistance is provided once in a 12-month period and The Gas Co assistance is provided once in a winter program period (January - May (2023 is an exception and the program is still open). This means you can only apply once a year or once every 12 months. Certain income criteria apply. The income affidavit is only used for no income or cash income.
Note - The amount of the assistance is only given against an outstanding balance on your bill. If you have autopay set up, this program will not work for you, unless you take your account off of autopay. If you have a zero balance when we process your application, you will be denied by the United Way. |
